Description The Sr. Lead RBT plays a critical leadership role in supporting training, staff development, and quality client care at assigned locations. This position is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs for Behavior Technicians (BTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Lead RBTs, while also providing direct clinical support as needed. The Sr. Lead RBT partners closely with clinical leadership and operations to ensure consistent implementation of evidence-based practices, staff competency, and high standards of ABA service delivery. This role also supports program innovation, safety initiatives, and emergency preparedness, while fostering a collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented culture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive training programs for Lead RBTs Mentor and support new Lead RBTs during their onboarding period Collaborate with clinical leadership to update training materials Facilitate initial and ongoing training for Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technician Provide hands-on guidance to ensure quality implementation of treatment plans Serve as a floater, covering client sessions across various locations to address staffing needs Collaborate with BCBAs to provide consistent and effective services Conduct assessments for Lead RBTs to evaluate clinical skills and adherence to protocols Provide detailed feedback and actionable recommendations Record and document client progress, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA standards Assist in preparing and maintaining training and client materials Work closely with parents, caregivers, and team members to ensure continuity of care Maintain professional relationships with clients, supervisors, and colleagues Pay rate $27.50/ hour Work Environment Work is performed in a clinic environment. Involves frequent interaction with staff, clients, and the public. Safety Care training will be provided to ensure safe handling of challenging behaviors. This position require travel between centers to provide support and training when needed. Requirements Current RBT certification in good standing Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RBT, with demonstrated leadership capabilities Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lead RBT Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders Additional certifications or training in ABA methodologies are a plus Additional Skills and Abilities Knowledge of ABA principles and best practices Strong leadership and mentorship abilities Effective time management and multitasking skills Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships Commitment to client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA laws Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work environments and travel between locations Physical Demands Must be able to maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport as indicated in Behavior Intervention Plans Must have manual dexterity for data collection and use of electronic devices Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Stamina to remain alert and energetic during sessions
Responsibilities
