About you and the role: As a Senior/Lead TS&D Specialist based in Navi Mumbai or New Delhi You are expected to drive the growth of Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics (P&SP) business mainly in Flexible packaging, via focus on application development, grow the innovation pipeline and develop new technology platforms by offering differentiated solutions to maximize value for customers. The responsibilities include building technical relationships, identifying growth opportunities at customers, conducting successful trials, and technically qualifying Dow products at external partners and customers Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and solutions for flexible packaging customers, ensuring optimal application of Dow’s specialty plastics products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new packaging innovations and drive product enhancements for the Indian market. Analyse customer requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and offer recommendations to improve performance and sustainability. Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders. Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in flexible packaging. Qualifications Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field. PhD is preferred. 5-6 years of relevant experience in the flexible packaging industry, preferably with a strong technical focus. Demonstrated expertise in flexible packaging materials, processes, and applications. Excellent knowledge of Global Petrochemical Industries and flexible packaging industry in India will be an added advantage. Your Skills Excellent problem-solving Analytical Thinking Good communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic business environment.
