We are now expanding into the health and fitness sector with the launch of the Diploma of Clinical Exercise Science, beginning in February 2026, and are seeking an educator who will play a pivotal role in its delivery and early success. What’s the job? We are recruiting a Senior Learning Facilitator to coordinate and support the successful deployment of the Diploma of Clinical Exercise Science. This is a teaching-focused academic role with responsibilities across subject delivery, student engagement, course coordination, and academic quality processes. You will help shape an innovative and industry-connected program designed to prepare graduates for roles as fitness professionals, gym instructors, or personal trainers, while creating clear pathways into further study in health-related disciplines. You will join a collaborative academic team committed to high-quality learning experiences, evidence-informed practice, and graduate employability within the exercise, fitness, and allied-health sectors. Day-to-day accountabilities: Key responsibilities are listed below and may change based on program needs and individual areas of skill and expertise. Teaching & Learning Deliver engaging online and on-campus classes using evidence-informed teaching practices Prepare learning materials and assessments aligned to industry standards (AUSActive) Provide structured and responsive student support throughout the study period Participate in moderation, validation, and academic governance activities Contribute to ongoing curriculum enhancement, including subject reviews and improvements Course Coordination Coordinate the overall delivery of the Diploma of Clinical Exercise Science Support teaching staff, facilitate consistent delivery practices, and monitor student progression Provide academic leadership within the program Ensure assessment integrity, quality assurance, and alignment with accreditation requirements Professional Engagement Maintain currency in exercise science, fitness instruction, and related professional practice Engage with industry partners to support employability, placements, and curriculum relevance Collaboration & Contribution Collaborate with colleagues across Think Education and Torrens Global Education Contribute to initiatives and working groups in teaching, learning, and scholarship To read more about the role please click here to view job description.
