Description Job Summary: The position of Senior Leasing Associate has the primary responsibility of consistently producing a high volume of leasing deals in the South Florida area. In pursuit of that goal, daily tasks include client development, cold calling, network meetings and events, and market research. Self-motivation, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work with a team are critical components of this role. General Responsibilities: Responsible for generating leasing deals on a consistent basis, which involves every aspect from generating interest through closing the deal. Represent the client’s portfolio in all leasing related transactions, including marketing, negotiation, and lease contract. Develop strategic tenant plans and leasing assumptions specific for each property in your assigned portfolio. Identify new tenants and negotiate leases with national, regional and local tenants. Attend networking events, advertise client’s portfolio to potential tenants, and tenant representation brokers. Perform regular site visits, due diligence and financial analysis. Prepare and present presentations to senior management addressing leasing and marketing issues for your assigned properties. Job Type: Commission Only License: Florida Real Estate License (Required) Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a commercial leasing agent, preferably on retail product. A current Florida Real Estate Salesperson or Broker license. Demonstrable interpersonal and relationship building skills, including the ability to work effectively in teams. Ability to work professionally with all levels of internal and external management, staff, and clients. Exceptionally strong communication skills, demonstrated in both writing and conversation. Flexibility and ability to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision. License: Florida Real Estate License (Required)
