[What the role is] We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual in the field of hospitality, tourism and/or culinary management who is dedicated to inspiring and preparing learners for a successful career. [What you will be working on] The successful candidate is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities: Teaching & Learning · Facilitate engaging, applied, and learner-centred learning experiences for both pre-employment training (PET) students and continuing education and training (CET) adult learners. · Teach and assess modules across lifestyle, hospitality, tourism, culinary, marketing, communications, media, customer experience, and related business disciplines. · Guide students in applied projects, internships, competitions, industry collaborations, and experiential learning activities. · Mentor students in their academic, professional, and personal development. Curriculum Development & Innovation · Design, review, and enhance curriculum and learning materials aligned with industry trends and emerging business needs. · Integrate contemporary pedagogical and andragogical approaches, including experiential, blended, and technology-enabled learning. · Develop authentic assessments, case studies, simulations, and industry-based learning experiences. · Incorporate emerging developments such as digital transformation, sustainability, consumer behaviour, AI-enabled marketing, content creation, and experience design into curriculum delivery. Industry Engagement & Applied Projects · Build and maintain strong partnerships with industry stakeholders, agencies, and professional bodies. · Collaborate with industry partners on consultancy, applied research, live projects, learning journeys, and student development initiatives. · Keep abreast of industry trends and translate workplace practices into meaningful educational experiences. · Support industry events, networking engagements, competitions, and institutional initiatives that strengthen industry relevance and visibility. Continuing Education & Adult Learning · Design and deliver executive education, customised corporate training, and professional development workshops for adult learners. · Facilitate skills upgrading programmes aligned with workforce transformation and industry development needs. Academic & Institutional Contributions · Contribute to school-level initiatives, committees, projects, and capability development efforts. · Support outreach, student recruitment, branding, and engagement activities for the School and institution. [What we are looking for] Relevant qualifications in related disciplines At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in hospitality, tourism, culinary, marketing, communications, media, customer experience, or related sectors. Experience in customer-facing, service-oriented, or consumer-focused environments. Strong communication, facilitation, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to integrate industry practices into applied learning experiences. Passion for education, talent development, and lifelong learning. Experience in student/adult learning, curriculum development, or industry engagement will be an advantage.
