Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) is a globally recognised centre of excellence for teaching and research in tropical diseases. Recently ranked in the top 5.3% of universities in the world, we are proud of the work we do and the impact this has on the people who need our help most. Headquartered in the heart of Liverpool, with colleagues working all around the world, we are on a mission to improve health outcomes in disadvantaged populations globally, through partnership in research and education.
We are looking to appoint a translational scientist with a strong track record in antibody discovery as a Senior Lecturer or Reader, who will undertake internationally leading research in this area, contributing to LSTM’s mission.
The focus of this role will be on developing global health solutions, particularly in antibody-based biologics for diagnostics and/or therapeutics targeting emerging infectious diseases and neglected tropical diseases. You will join our highly esteemed Tropical Disease Biology department (https://www.lstmed.ac.uk/research/departments/tropical-disease-biology), which is made up of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to translating basic science into practical solutions for patients facing global health challenges.
