Legal Services
The Institute of Law & Justice at Sheffield Hallam University has a proud 30-year tradition of delivering clinical legal education and applied learning. Our award-winning Hallam Legal Advice Centre (HLAC) is central to this, offering students invaluable hands-on legal experience while serving local communities across a broad range of legal needs.
Our advice centre is student-led, meaning students provide legal advice under the supervision of qualified professionals whilst providing free pro bono advice and support to clients. This model enables our students to develop practical legal skills and build professional networks that support successful legal careers.
We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Lecturer and Supervising Solicitor to lead, mentor, and manage the HLAC. This key role ensures high-quality service delivery, compliance with professional and regulatory standards, and a consistently outstanding student experience.
