Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate , in-house setting or public offices preferably in the insurance or financial field.. Experience in financial market entities or companies operating in the financial or insurance field is desirable.
  • Education: Law degree with a strong academic background; Registration as a solicitor or barrister or final year of application. Admission to practice law in Polish preferred.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of insurance law, commercial law, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken, also legal) is required, Polish as a native. An additional language is appreciated.
  • Mindset: Business-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, in particular insurance, service contracts, leases, in accordance with the scope of the employer’s operational activities.
  • Provide proactive legal advice to business teams, identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in legal regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting awareness within the company.
  • Prepare and negotiate legal documents, including agreements, appendices, and letters in both Polish and English.
  • Conduct legal analyses, oversee document archiving, and maintain legal records.
  • Offer ongoing legal support to various departments, ensuring smooth corporate operations.
  • Manage corporate governance, including preparation of corporate documents, restructuring processes, and compliance with group structures.
  • Supervise external law firms, manage legal cases, and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer to ensure proper processing of personal data.
