A Snapshot As Senior Legal Counsel - Banking, based in Singapore, you will report to the Director, Legal -Corporate Transactions, and work closely with the various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways: You will work closely with AirTrunk’s award-winning Treasury team to lead and drive key treasury and debt capital market workstreams across the APJ region requiring specialist legal input, including corporate finance, securitisations, project finance, derivatives and hedging, alternative capital markets and sustainable banking You will advise on, structure and shape new and existing financings across the AirTrunk group to enable the rapid expansion of AirTrunk data centre developments across APJ, in line with regulatory requirements You will be able to hone new skills and expertise in related workstreams as required, including treasury, finance, tax, construction and development, sustainability and energy developing an in-depth knowledge of AirTrunk’s business and providing legal support on AirTrunk’s strategic initiatives Your Day to Day Provide expert legal advice on a range of banking and finance workstreams across APJ, and work closely with AirTrunk teams to shape deal structuring solutions from a legal and regulatory perspective, with support from external counsel as required Review, negotiate and finalise complex financial transaction documents including fee and commitment letters, facility agreements, ISDAs, security agreements and sustainability linked-loans across AirTrunk’s existing jurisdictions and new markets Work closely with the AirTrunk Treasury team to facilitate successful execution of debt financing transactions and drive any post-closing matters from a legal and regulatory perspective, including support of operationalisation of financing obligation compliance Evaluate and manage legal and regulatory risks within AirTrunk’s debt financing transactions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across relevant jurisdictions within our APJ footprint and new markets Monitor and identify emerging legal and regulatory issues and developments from a debt and financing perspective, drive initiatives to ensure awareness and compliance and improve processes within AirTrunk, including through training and development of new policies and procedures Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school Minimum of 7+ years banking and finance experience gained from a reputable law firm and/or within an in-house environment Experience in APJ highly regarded Experience in advising, and ability to navigate complex and innovative financial structures across including corporate finance, securitisations, project finance, derivatives and hedging, alternative capital markets and sustainable banking Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement and commercial acumen to a range of cases, whilst delivering practical legal advice that manages risk and aligns with best practice Ability to autonomously and efficiently manage multiple workstreams, priorities and stakeholders Excellent influencing, negotiation, relationship building and stakeholder management skills Enjoys being challenged, has a "can do" attitude, is prepared to go above and beyond and is eager to learn and develop an in-depth knowledge of AirTrunk's business and operations Thrives in a fun, team-oriented, fast-paced working environment The AirTrunk Culture Working at AirTrunk is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fast-track your career and amplify your impact.
