For our Global Legal & IP Team, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel - Business Partner Legal Commercial (m/f/d) for the KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. The Business Partner Legal Commercial (m/f/d) is the main contact for all legal questions, in particular for our internationally active business unit corn seeds as well as the expanding business area of nutritional food ingredients and provides high-quality and business-oriented legal advice. He (m/f/d) acts as a pro-active and pragmatic sparring partner for the KWS business based on an in-depth market understanding of the seed industry. This is a permanent position and available in full-time. The place of work is our HQ in Einbeck (Lower Saxony) or our office in Berlin.

• Providing high-quality legal advice on all legal issues mainly relating to our internationally active Business Unit Corn as well as to our expanding business area of nutritional food ingredients, in particular regarding licensing, distribution, service, supply, lease, purchase, confidentiality, marketing and other commercial agreements
• Steering and coordinating civil and administrative litigation matters
• Acts as a sparring partner to the business in identifying new business opportunities, structuring marketing models in a legally sound and pragmatic manner with appropriate consideration of the big picture
• Legal support for mergers and acquisitions
• Supporting the Expert Hub Legal in the development and implementation of standard contracts, templates, model clauses, legal document management, and know-how/license management with the help of Legal Tech, as well as in overarching corporate matters
• Management and coordination of external legal advisors
