The primary purpose of this role is to deliver legal services relating to the distribution of Allianz Australia products and services ensuring operations are conducted within regulatory parameters and in compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, pragmatic commercial legal advice within agreed timeframes and scope relating to:
  • The development, distribution, and marketing of AAL’s products; and
  • AAL’s personal injury business.
  • Provide legal review and sign off on public facing documents.
  • Assess and communicate legal risk and guide decision making for optimal solutions aligned to commercial context and risk assessment.
  • Advise on, review, negotiate and draft changes to distribution and related contracts and draft new contracts as required.
  • Monitor and, where appropriate, seek to influence changes in law which may affect Allianz Australia’s businesses and prepare the business for the impact of those changes.
