THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with the C-suite on a daily basis and make a significant impact during an exciting period of change and growth for the business. You will spearhead other wide ranging legal matters including data privacy queries and compliance matters.
With a big focus on commercial contracts, we are looking for a senior commercial technology lawyer with experience in fast moving sales driven organisations. You’ll put your strong commercial acumen and solid experience drafting bespoke and template licence agreements for cloud based platforms to good use.
As one of the key guardians of risk mitigation, there is a lot of potential for this role and will be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career to Head of Legal status in the coming years.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience advising on intellectual property legal matters
• Experience advising on CCPA and other US privacy laws, acting as a named data privacy officer, and holding CIPP-E and/or US certifications.
• Hands-on experience maintaining security certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC2.
• Experience in investment and/or M&A transactions
