Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted legal advisor to our sales team and other business units, providing guidance on diverse and complex revenue-generating commercial matters.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Spearhead negotiations and offer expert counsel on enterprise SaaS agreements and licensing arrangements, ensuring favorable outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Contract Excellence: Draft, review, negotiate, and provide comprehensive guidance on a wide range of commercial agreements, driving efficiency and compliance.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with external enterprise clients, partners, advisors, and vendors on legal matters, building strong relationships and fostering trust.
  • Dispute Resolution: Support management by advising on contract interpretation and resolving disputes, protecting the company’s interests.
  • External Counsel Management: Oversee external legal counsel as needed, ensuring high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.

SECURITY-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee’s role and responsibilities
  • Responsibility and accountability for executing League’s policies and procedures within the department/ team
  • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations
  • Compliance with Information Security Policies

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. The salary range is intentional to account for the performance and career progressions a Leaguer will experience in the role throughout their time at League.
