The Senior Legal Counsel supports the General Counsel in leading and managing the Legal Department, providing strategic legal guidance on matters impacting the business, and ensuring effective oversight of the legal budget. This role serves as a key legal advisor and managerial partner, helping to drive operational excellence, legal compliance, and risk mitigation across the organization. The role is responsible for conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and leading contract negotiations. It collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders, external regulators, and outside counsel to support the company’s legal and regulatory obligations. Additional responsibilities include overseeing litigation and dispute resolution matters, managing internal governance frameworks, and monitoring compliance and risk‑management policies. The Senior Legal Counsel also delivers training on the Code of Business Ethics (COBE) and general legal awareness, conducts investigations arising from step‑in hotline reports, and proactively identifies, mitigates, and manages legal risks to safeguard the organization’s interests.
