Description
We are looking for a Senior Legal Operations Analyst (Temporary) located in Toronto – Position Duration – 1 Year The Impact You Will Have: The Senior Legal Operations Analyst will report to the AVP, Head of North America Legal Operations, and be responsible for managing and tracking Canadian law and regulatory changes for the business of insurance utilizing Ethidex or other platforms as needed. You will also be responsible for inputting and tracking manual cases and data as needed). In addition, you will submit product filings during peak periods and will act as support in implementing operational efficiencies in the Legal Department. This may include, but is not limited to, new software and technology solutions, processes, and reporting. You will assist in compiling and analyzing data for monthly report maintenance and creation. You will be responsible for other duties and tasks as assigned, which may include legal analyst support and special projects as needed. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Managing and tracking Canadian insurance law and regulatory changes utilizing Ethidex and other platforms as needed. Participating in overall NA Legal department operational strategy execution. Entering and tracking manual cases acquired outside of Ethidex (for other topics, as needed). Compiling and analyzing data and information to create strategic reports and presentations, along with other regular and ad hoc departmental reporting needs/requests Providing support to Canadian regulatory agencies with product filings during peak periods. Serving as back up for GCO Mailbox, NDA Mailbox, CT Corp, Legal Tracker and Legal X, among other legal/litigation matters, as needed. Participate in other projects and duties as required. What You’ll Bring to the Role A minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance industry; Experience with Canadian laws and regulations; Product filing experience; Experience with technology implementations; Wolters Kluwer OSX knowledge; Project and process management experience; Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to build and foster relationships; Ability to take initiative and resolve problems; Excellent organizational skills Ability to learn to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making; and Bachelor’s degree The hourly pay range for this role is $53 - $63. The salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
