Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to the following: Weld smaller components (e.g. base plates, stiffener plates, cap plates, fillet welds, railings) Grinding and cleaning welds Replace wire in welding machines Out of position welding (horizontal and vertical) Weld larger assemblies Read WPS and set machine accordingly Weld larger frames, including CJP welds Read prints and understand what welds are required per shop drawings Follow all Safety Rules PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be proficient in use of carbon arc Minimum 3+ years of experience in welding Must be certified unlimited in GMAW, FCAW or FCAW-G, and SMAW. Responsibilities

The Senior Level Welder is responsible for welding small components and large assemblies, including frames and railings, according to shop drawings. Duties include grinding, cleaning welds, and ensuring all safety rules are followed during fabrication.
