SALARY: $1,180.96 - 1,352.20 pw + Super
Work Type: Permanent Full Time

Location: Camden Libraries - Camden, Narellan and Oran Park.

Essential:

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent
  • Demonstrated work experience in a library
  • Demonstrated experience in promoting library services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current high level digital literacy skills, with the confidence to support customers with diverse technology including online and virtual collections and services, across multiple devices, platforms, apps and software
  • General knowledge of library policies and practices
  • Ability to effectively organise and prioritize workloads
  • Ability to work as part of a team environment with a customer focus
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment including new technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO and WHS principles
  • Current Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check

Desirable:

  • Completed or undertaking Certificate 3 in Library and Information Services or equivalent
  • Demonstrated work experience in a public library
  • Demonstrated experience in the presentation of children’s programs
