REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years focused on lifecycle or CRM marketing in a B2C environment, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful omni-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools and Hubspot CRM.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and other testing methodologies.
  • Experience in segmentation and personalization of campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with Empowely teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Empowerly is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in crafting targeted, effective marketing strategies that resonate with families seeking college counseling services. As a crucial part of our team, you will develop and manage comprehensive lifecycle marketing campaigns that engage and move potential students and their parents from awareness to decision-making. Your role will involve using sophisticated segmentation and personalization tactics across multiple channels such as email, social media, and web platforms, ensuring every communication is impactful and meaningful.
This position requires a strong background in digital marketing, with at least 5 years of experience, particularly in lifecycle or CRM marketing within a B2C environment, ideally in the education sector. You will work closely with performance marketing, search optimization teams, and other key internal stakeholders to integrate and optimize our marketing efforts. Your expertise in data analysis, marketing automation tools, and CRM systems will be pivotal in driving the success of our marketing initiatives, making this role essential for enhancing our engagement and effectively reaching our audience at Empowerly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that effectively move potential students and parents down the funnel from awareness to decision-making.
  • Segmentation and Personalization: Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies to deliver targeted and personalized marketing messages to diverse user groups.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, web, etc.), ensuring they are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance and customer engagement, leveraging insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Customer Insights: Collaborate with the customer service and sales teams to gather insights and feedback, which will inform the refinement of customer personas and journey mapping.
  • Content Strategy: Work closely with the content team to create compelling and educational content that supports lifecycle stages and drives conversions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and content teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment of goals across channels.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Continuously test and optimize marketing tactics based on latest trends and data insights to enhance the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing efforts.
