SENIOR LIGHTING ENGINEER – SPECIALIST LIGHTING Location: Brisbane / Queensland (preferred) At WSP, we don’t just deliver projects—we shape the future of the built environment. We’re growing our Specialist Lighting team and are looking for a Senior Lighting Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality lighting design solutions across major infrastructure projects.   WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll play a key role in delivering lighting design and electrical engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of roadway and transport projects. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading the delivery of lighting design solutions for transport infrastructure projects of varying scale and complexity * Applying expertise in Energy Queensland Public Lighting and Rate 2 Design principles * Producing and reviewing technical reports, designs and documentation to meet client requirements * Providing technical leadership and advice to clients, translating complex issues into clear, practical solutions * Supporting the preparation of tender and contract documentation, including quality assurance reviews * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across WSP to deliver integrated project outcomes * Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships * Representing WSP in industry forums and strengthening our local market presence   WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR You’re a technically strong lighting professional who combines engineering expertise with commercial awareness and a client-centric mindset. You will bring: * Demonstrated experience delivering roadway or transport lighting design projects in Queensland * Strong knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and design guidelines * Experience in a consulting environment (preferred) * Proficiency with lighting software such as AGi, Perfectlite and/or Tulip * Experience producing and reviewing technical documentation and BIM models * Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly * A track record of delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget   QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Design or equivalent or * Trade background as a qualified electrician   WHY WSP?
