Accredited by The Joint Commission, Hudson Behavioral Health is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization providing Behavioral Health Treatment in Salisbury, Maryland. Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, 3.1 Housing and Outpatient Services. The Senior Line Cook is responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and safety. This role involves supervising and mentoring kitchen staff, assisting with menu execution, managing inventory, and stepping in as acting head chef when required. Shifts are 5am- 1pm and 11am - 7-pm. Every other weekend. Responsibilities: 1. Assist the Chef with daily kitchen operations. 2. Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency. 3. Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards. 4. Maintain food quality meeting high standards for taste, portion control, and presentation coordination with other cooks for timely delivery. 5. Ensure compliance by strictly following all food safety, sanitation guidelines, and health department regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and workstations cleaning. 6. Assist with inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and minimizing food waste. 7. Assist with scheduling and coordinating kitchen staff shifts as needed. 8. Step in for the Chef during absences 9. Help develop new menu items and specials when required 10. Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
