Job description

• Administration, operation and further development of complex Linux server environments
• Ensuring the stability, availability, and IT security of the systems
• Support and modernization of infrastructure, monitoring and automation solutions
• Further development of deployment and automation processes
• Optimization of existing operational processes and technical standards
• Collaboration on architectural, security and operational concepts
• Planning and execution of system updates and maintenance measures
• Analysis, troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operation
• Coordination with internal IT teams and relevant interface partners

profile

• Studies in computer science, business informatics, training as an IT specialist or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the administration of Linux server environments
• Knowledge of data center or on-premises infrastructure environments
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, e.g. B. Ansible or Terraform
• Knowledge of Git, VMware or comparable virtualization technologies
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
• Strong communication skills and teamwork skills
• Very good German skills (at least C1 level)
• Confident handling of English-language technical documentation
