About the role : We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage enterprise Linux infrastructure in a high-availability data centre environment. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, including Red Hat and CentOS Perform system updates, patch management, and security hardening Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems Implement and manage monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot incidents Work with hypervisors such as RHEV Hypervisor and VMware Create and manage virtual machines and maintain virtualised environments Diagnose and resolve system and application-level issues Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements Support DevOps automation initiatives and infrastructure operations Requirements Must-have: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or Linux Administrator Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including Red Hat and CentOS Strong shell scripting skills Experience in DevOps practices and automation tools such as Ansible or Jenkins Experience with on-premises or physical servers Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud Experience with virtualisation technologies such as RHEV Hypervisor or VMware Experience supporting enterprise Linux infrastructure in data centre or production environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Nice-to-have: Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana Familiarity with automation and infrastructure management practices Exposure to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or telecom infrastructure environments Reach out: swamy@oxydata.my | +601164111889 Explore more roles: https://oxydata.ai/careers/
