Job Description We are looking for a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer with AWS and Terraform experience to support and evolve Linux-based infrastructure across on-premise, AWS, and hybrid environments. This role combines hands-on operational ownership of enterprise Linux platforms with the ongoing standardization and automation of infrastructure using Terraform and related tooling. You will help ensure secure, reliable, and scalable environments while contributing to the gradual reduction of manual operations and legacy platform dependencies over time. The environment includes a mix of on-premise, AWS-hosted, and hybrid infrastructure, with some legacy virtualization and operational processes still in place as our platforms continue to mature. You will report to the respective Delivery lead. You will: Perform L3 administration of Linux environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) Automate Linux and cloud operational tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency Support and operate Linux workloads hosted on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and OS-level configuration. Implement OS hardening and configuration compliance in collaboration with Security and Compliance teams Monitor system performance and availability; respond to incidents and participate in major incident (P1/P2) management and on-call rotations Manage system services, including systemd services, cron jobs, logging, and performance tuning Design, provision, and manage AWS-based Linux infrastructure using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code best practices Design reusable Terraform modules to support infrastructure provisioning and standardization Demonstrate working awareness of VMware/vSphere environments, including provisioning concepts, snapshot usage, and basic platform-level troubleshooting, as part of supporting a hybrid infrastructure landscape Participate in change management, capacity planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications What you will bring: 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, including support for Linux workloads in AWS environments Strong experience in enterprise Linux administration (RHEL, SUSE, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, including reusable module development Experience with OS patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and advanced troubleshooting Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, or Python Working knowledge of AWS infrastructure concepts, including networking, security, storage, and access control Exposure to hybrid infrastructure environments, including VMware/vSphere Experience working within ITIL-aligned infrastructure or cloud operations teams Fluency in English We consider it an advantage if you also have: Linux or AWS certifications (e.g., Red Hat, AWS Associate/Professional) Experience working in hybrid or multi-account AWS environments Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability platforms Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance frameworks Additional Information What you will get: Personal Development - career pathway for professional growth supported by learning and development programs and unlimited access to online educational training courses, learning materials & book.
