Senior Linux-Systemadministrator (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• You will administer, monitor, and optimize our Linux server environment and virtualization environment.
• As part of the team, you will help shape the further development of our IT infrastructure (in the areas of network architecture, servers, and virtualization).
• You are responsible for firewalls, network segmentation and backup concepts, and you respond to security-related incidents.
• You automate recurring tasks using a script.

Your profile

• Studies or training in the IT field or qualified professional experience
• Several years of experience in the administration of Linux-based server systems
• Solid knowledge of network technology and IT security
• Safe handling of Bash and Python
• Experience with our tech stack is an advantage:
  • Server & Virtualization: Linux, Proxmox, TrueNAS Scale
  • Network & Security: Fiber optic, 10GbE backbone, switching & routing, OPNsense, Cloudflare, OpenBao
  • Container: Docker, Harbor
  • Services: Redis, Elasticsearch, HAProxy, NGINX, PostgreSQL
  • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure
