We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Ontario litigation law, a strong track record of successful client outcomes, and the ability to handle complex litigation transactions and disputes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed to practice law in Ontario and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience practicing law, with a strong focus on Ontario Civil litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling complex matters and achieving successful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining LSO regulations and operational standards
Responsibilities
  • Manage your own litigation files from start to finish.
  • Drafting claims, defences, applications, motions, affidavits, and factums.
  • Arguing motions, case conferences, applications, and trials.
  • Preparing for and conducting discoveries and hearings.
  • Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Utilizing litigation software to manage files efficiently.
  • Developing and executing case strategies to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior lawyers and legal staff.
