Job Details Job Location: San Diego HQ - SAN DIEGO, CA 92108 Salary Range: $38.00 - $48.00 Hourly SENIOR LITIGATION PARALEGAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented senior litigation paralegal to join our Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking team. This position is fast-paced and supports a team of attorneys performing litigation in state and federal courts. It will involve collaboration of other paralegals and case assistants. SALARY AND BENEFITS: $38.00- $48.00 per hour Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. JOB DUTIES: Communicating regularly with clients. Reviewing and organizing clients’ documents. Responsible for court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar duties. Management of electronic information, document management, and document review including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and searching in complex litigation. Creation of privilege logs. Preparing trial exhibits Uploading and updating client information into a case management database. Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings. Staying abreast of rules of civil procedure in both state and federal courts, including CM/ECF filing/Pacer and arranging for service of pleadings and subpoenas. Identifying, tracking, and managing case-related deadlines in an electronic calendaring system. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must possess a paralegal certificate or meet the Bus. & Prof. Code § 6450 requirements. 7+ years of civil litigation experience Experience with working up cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions. Experience in case management software programs. Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook Familiar with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
