SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) Systems Integration Lab (SIL) team located in Huntsville, AL. Job Description: Oversee the content management solution of our inventory of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) material and Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) material Provide procurement support to ensure all material, maintenance, repair, and equipment calibration requirements for our government customer are fulfilled in an efficient, cost effective, and timely manner. Exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and video teleconferencing and supports the SAIC, government, and subcontractor team by performing tasks related to organization, procurement, and strong group communication Independently anticipate and provide responsive administrative and logistics support to facilitate completion of all organizational mission requirements. Provide the team (SAIC, subcontractors, and government) with a centralized source of administrative and logistic expertise and guidance, which ultimately affects the success of the mission Required Education: · Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience; Four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree Required Security Clearance: · Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance; Interim Clearance required to start Required Skills: Trained with requirements for handling and transporting hazardous materials as well as knowledge of properly assessing security and hazard classifications Familiarity with requirements for shipping and receiving large or bulky items Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation (DOT), Army, customer, and international regulations governing secure shipment and documentation of large CONUS and OCONUS shipments Understanding of DoD purchasing documentation, processes and procedures Familiar with DoD records management regulations Skilled with inventory management techniques, managing hand receipts, hardware and software Experienced with Microsoft Suite /Access, Word, and Excel Experienced with SharePoint Collaboration Tools
Responsibilities
