SAIC is seeking a proficient and experienced Integrated Logistics Specialist with a strong background in supporting Department of War initiatives at NSWC Crane, IN. The successful candidate will focus primarily on planning, reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA), and will also possess robust testing and evaluation skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and management of logistics functions to achieve operational excellence and performance objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage integrated logistics processes with a focus on Department of War projects and programs. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of logistics services, emphasizing planning, reliability, maintainability, and availability. Conduct testing and evaluation of logistic support elements to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation, with a focus on RMA. Analyze logistics performance, including reliability and maintainability metrics, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to optimize efficiency, reliability, availability, and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant Department of War regulations, policies, and procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams related to logistics functions, particularly in RMA and testing and evaluation and configuration management. Participate in the development of logistics plans, schedules, and budgets, emphasizing RMA principles. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for logistics operations, focusing on reliability and maintainability. Maintain and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners, ensuring they meet Department of War standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, specifically within the defense or aerospace environment. Strong understanding of logistics processes, with a focus on planning, reliability, maintainability, availability, testing, and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate complex logistics activities, particularly in a Department of War context. Proficient in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, with an emphasis on RMA metrics and testing. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, especially in the context of RMA. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
