SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst - DCGS –MC– In support of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic per the Distributed Common Ground Surface Systems Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) Integrated Project Team (IPT) contract support as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Six (6) years of experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: Logistics principles, Practices, and Processes. Experience shall include at least one (01) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering / Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational / Level 01; Demonstrate / specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional one (01) year (i.e., total 04 years minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics. Demonstrated experience with a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as Distributed Common Ground System Marine Corps – (DCGS-MC) - All Source, DCGS-MC - Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), or DCGS-MC - Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
Responsibilities

The DCGS-MC Logistics Analyst main efforts will be to currently support ALL-SOURCE, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) and portions of the overarching contract support for DCGS-MC. Additional duties for ENTERPRISE (ENTP) and SIGNAL INTELLIGENCE (SIGINT) will be expected in support of the DCGS-MC contract support in the near future.

The Logistics Analyst will need a high level of initiative and the ability to self-manage. When the Logistics Analyst is not explicitly tasked, it is the Logistics Analyst’s responsibility to survey the status of DCGS-MC equipment and to ensure that other teams see you as the “go-to” individual for logistical activities. The Logistics Analyst’s core duties include:

  • Receives a variety of incoming materials; prepares reports and enters data into material management database (CMPRO).
  • Receives, stores, and issues all labels /tags for materials.
  • Prepares receiving report; reconciles / reports shortages and damaged materials.
  • Selects and issues material to production; processes returned production material back to storage.
  • Performs inventory cycle counts as required; documents discrepancies, develops and implement corrective actions.
  • Orders components from the warehouse for operational and program requirements.
  • Utilizes the CMPRO system to determine material quantities and data accuracy.
  • Verifies, identifies, and inspects a wide variety of incoming direct and indirect materials and supplies referring to purchase orders and shipping documents; process returned materials to storage.
  • Prepares materials for shipment: coordinates with external and program team members to ship, track and ensure successful delivery of media & materials.
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of CMPro and Navy ERP systems.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
