SAIC is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst that can provide Sustainment Support (Logistics). This position supports the US Navy and is located in Crane, IN. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Logistics Analyst will act as the primary focal point, support for logistical management and programmatic, technical, and administrative assistance with the PMA-290 portfolio of P-8 Aircraft Special Missions projects as well as other PMA-290 programs as part of cross collaboration on hardware commonality. JOB RESPONSIBLITES: This role will provide acquisitions logistics management support to include total lifecycle support, but not limited to: Programmatic and Metrics data collection and reporting (ILS Elements) Provide routing reporting of status on open procurements, repair actions, inventory details Provide quick response to data calls and inputs Develop and/or Maintain a data repository for all currently required acquisition documentation, templates, and formats for program office requirements Provide weekly project status updates at internal team meetings and to program office meeting requirements PMR Briefs Development of logistics slides for PMR’s and Depot Briefs that may be presented to a Level 1/O-6 level, PMA working group or internal team audience, dependent on requirement to report schedule/milestone requirements, reduce life cycle costs and sustain efficient project operation requirements Procurements Initial procurement actions through Government established process or external contract vehicle Draft Statement of Work (SOW), Justification & Approval (J&A), Market Research, Acquisition Strategy, and other supporting Acquisition Package requirements Track status through receipt of material Maintain annual recurring requirements Identification of unfunded requirement Repair Actions Collaborate with ROR team to review and identify repair requirements Review historical repair costs to ROM estimates Track all open repair/evaluation requirements Inventory Management, Shipment and Material Receipt Review ERP inventory list to ensure validity of program material and movements Material receipt disposition requirements as guided by PMA-290 DAPML – Shipping or local inventory storage DMSMS reporting, monitoring through closure via ECP Sparing analysis Collaborate in the data collection to support sparing analysis and forecasting of support requirements Provide inputs for updates to sparing analysis annually to support annual BAM requirements Configuration Management Repair Traveler initiations and backfit ECP/Maintenance Tracking Topdown Review REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience Advanced level experience and skills operating MS-Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute against multiple priorities Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of and compliance with contract specifications and requirements Secret clearance is required to start PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Project or program management experience
