If you’re ready to be part of an ambitious team reshaping the freight future, we want to hear from you. About the Role Keen to own the afternoon and evening ops window? We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team, initially on a temporary basis, to support the day-to-day execution of transport across our national freight network. This is a hands-on role focused on coordinating freight movements, working closely with carriers, and ensuring shipments run smoothly from allocation through to delivery. You’ll initially be working 12:00pm – 8:00pm during onboarding, before transitioning to a 10:00pm – 6:00am shift as you become fully trained in the role. Position Purpose The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality freight delivery outcomes. Acting as the bridge between shippers and carriers, this role is central to the execution of Ofload’s operational performance, maintaining strong service levels, solving problems in real time, and driving continuous improvement in delivery outcomes. This position is also an advocate for Ofload’s technology and services - empowering partners to embrace our platform, helping digitise traditionally analogue processes, and contributing to our mission to make freight smarter and greener. The Role The Logistics Coordinator sits within the Operations function, working closely with Carrier Management, Solutions, Product, and Sales. The role is on the frontline of daily freight execution—coordinating high volumes of loads, ensuring service standards are upheld, and actively engaging with partners to resolve issues and improve performance. This is a high-paced, collaborative team environment that values initiative, ownership, and a bias toward action. What you'll be doing Relationship Management - Manage day-to-day relationships with shippers and carriers, setting clear expectations and maintaining a high standard of service delivery. Shipment Allocation - Make informed, real-time decisions to allocate loads to the most appropriate carriers, balancing service, cost, and capacity. Margin Management - Monitor margin levels when allocating freight, ensuring carriers selected are not only compliant and reliable but also support strong commercial outcomes for Ofload. Issue Resolution & Escalation - Act as first-line support for operational and technical issues, resolving challenges quickly and proactively. Partner Enablement - Support carriers in using Ofload’s platform and tools effectively, helping lift tech adoption and engagement. Data & Reporting- Maintain accurate and timely records of partner interactions, service incidents, and shipment data in relevant systems. Continuous Improvement-Identify process gaps and suggest improvements that enhance service levels or operational efficiency. Collaboration- Work cross-functionally to improve end-to-end customer experience and provide feedback to internal teams on process, product, and partner insights. About you 3+ years experience as a logistics coordinator specifically in the road freight industry Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving capability. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a high-growth team.
