REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, manufacturing, logistics or product development
  • Ability to deal optimally with ambiguity and forward-thinking environment
  • Strong multi-faceted experience in Logistics and Supply Chains including solid understanding of logistics modes and supply base dynamics
  • Self-starter, seeks out areas of improvement and generates relevant workstreams to operationalize
  • Strong experience in data analytics
  • Strong understanding of complex logistics issues and setting up logistics strategies and alternatives
  • Strong capability to lead ambiguous environment
  • Strong technical skills that help streamline processes in cost estimation

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Single point of ownership for all inbound logistics assumption with Program Team and various functional areas including manufacturing, PPM, direct purchasing, supply chain and others.
  • Alignment with manufacturing, supply chain and purchasing to understand scheduling and inventory requirements
  • Staying informed with industry trends in the EV space and providing logistics context
  • Mastery and insight of cost driver changes in network between ICE to current and future EV to identify areas of opportunity and concern cross functionally
  • SME on EV GPS value chain from critical raw materials to the finished battery level;
  • Supporting JV partners integration into GM systems and processes to deliver organizational scale
  • Development and management of EV GPS specific metrics related to logistics
  • Lead weekly alignment meeting with all cross functional areas within inbound logistics
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
  • Build and balance Logistics strategies across programs through alignment with program managers to identify risk and opportunities
  • Make close to accurate business decision with risk indicators and planning/Commercial assumptions.
  • Strong support for sourcing activities of related program commodities with SCE team
  • Develop reviews for the key milestones and ensure the team is on track to deliver
  • Develop and produce program status reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead communication, coordination, and consultation with internal and external stakeholders on both logistics and container milestones
  • Develop and manage budget, reporting out to necessary business owners
  • Communication and pro-active management of inbound logistics network opportunities with the Program Team and Logistics Stakeholders
