Description
Responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations related to automotive spare parts. The role ensures timely availability and distribution of spare parts to dealers, service centers, and warehouses while maintaining cost efficiency, compliance with import regulations, and operational excellence within the after-sales supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Operations Management Manage the full logistics cycle for automotive spare parts including importation, transportation, warehousing coordination, and distribution. Ensure timely delivery of spare parts to dealers, service centers, and internal warehouses to support after-sales operations. Monitor order fulfillment processes and address delivery delays, shortages, or backorders. Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, and aftersales teams to ensure parts availability and smooth operational flow. Import & Shipping Coordination Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to manage international shipments. Ensure compliance with Egyptian import regulations, customs clearance requirements, and documentation processes. Monitor shipping schedules and follow up on inbound shipments to ensure on-time arrival. Warehouse & Inventory Support Work with warehouse teams to optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and space utilization for spare parts. Support inventory control processes including stock replenishment planning, aging stock monitoring, and movement analysis. Ensure proper handling and storage practices for automotive spare parts. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track logistics KPIs such as delivery lead time, freight costs, order fulfillment rate, and backorder levels. Prepare periodic logistics performance reports and dashboards for management review. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Cost Optimization Monitor freight costs and logistics expenses and recommend cost optimization initiatives. Support negotiations and coordination with logistics service providers to maintain competitive logistics rates. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in the automotive industry, particularly spare parts logistics, is highly preferred. Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of logistics operations, import/export regulations, and customs procedures. Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP or similar systems). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis. Strong coordination and communication skills. Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy. Fluency in English and Arabic verbal and written.
