Job Description Title: Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator Location: Bangalore | Mode: Hybrid | Relevant Experience: 8-12 Years About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Tenant Administrator with little Azure expertise to manage and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on end-to-end tenant administration and tenant-to-tenant migrations, ensuring security, complaint, and seamless collaboration experience across the organization. Azure administration knowledge is an advantage. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 Administration Manage and maintain core M365 services — Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Security & Compliance Center. Implement and monitor governance, security, and compliance policies to ensure regulatory adherence and data protection. Oversee system health, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for M365 workloads. Tenant Migrations Plan and lead Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations with minimal user disruption. Perform pre-migration assessments, execute detailed migration plans, and validate post-migration performance. Manage mail flow, identity synchronization, and ensure data integrity during migration projects. Experience in Merger and Acquisition is an advantage Azure & Identity Management Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for identity and access management. Configure and manage Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access controls (RBAC). Support hybrid identity solutions including Azure AD Connect and ADFS. Device & Security Management Administer Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint protection. Enforce security baselines and compliance policies across devices and applications. Automation & Optimization Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and reporting. Monitor and optimize licensing utilization, cost management, and resource allocation across M365 and Azure environments. Support & Troubleshooting Provide Tier-3 support and advanced troubleshooting for M365 and Azure-related issues. Serve as the escalation point for complex incidents and collaborate with Microsoft Support when necessary. Qualifications 7–11 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and tenant migrations (M365-to-M365, Google Workspace-to-M365, On-prem-to-Cloud, etc.). In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory, identity management, and security best practices. Proven experience with Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, and compliance frameworks. Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Certifications & Skills Microsoft Certified: MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator) — required. Experience managing hybrid environments and complex migration scenarios. Azure Administration knowledge or certification (e.g., AZ-104) will be highly preferred. Familiarity with Azure CLI and automation/orchestration tools. Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.) is a plus. Full Time / Part Time: Full Time
