Job Description Our client is a trusted partner in the financial-banking sector in Germany, both in the public and private sectors who offers services for over 150,000 banking workstations and for more than 4,500 employees. It covers over 60% of banking sector in Germany. Responsibilities Develop & Maintain Automation Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python (FastAPI), and Java to support enterprise applications and operational processes. Build & Integrate Backend Services: Build, enhance, and maintain backend APIs and integrations with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity. Automate Identity & Access Management: Automate identity and access management tasks, user lifecycle processes, and administrative workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Troubleshoot & Optimize Enterprise Applications: Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications and services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. Drive Security & Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions by following security, quality, and operational best practices, with a strong focus on customer needs and banking industry standards. Qualifications Must have: Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and backend development using Java and Python (FastAPI). Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and Microsoft Entra ID. Good understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration concepts. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes. Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result. Nice to have: Knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Understanding Docker, Kubernetes / OpenShift and Linux environments. Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
