Job Title: Machine Builder II
Location: Williamston, MI 48895
Pay: $25 / hr
Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM Mon to Fri

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and manufacturing quality machines, equipment, and sub-assemblies while ensuring a safe working environment.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE MACHINE BUILDER II:

• 2+ years of job-related experience or skilled trades technical certification
• Experience with large assemblies and industrial machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in metric and inch systems
• Basic electrical knowledge and computer skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Follow OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards
• Build and manufacture quality machines, equipment, and sub-assemblies
• Perform maintenance and repair of building/installed equipment
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems
• Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.)
• Interpret blueprints, develop specifications, and create sketches of parts or products
• Submit daily time accounting, payroll information, and other required paperwork
