We’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Inverse Problems & PINNs) to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. In this role, you will contribute to cutting-edge solutions for semiconductor metrology solutions, contributing to research breakthroughs and production-scale implementations. QuantumDiamonds is dedicated to establishing a global quantum sensing platform, with a mission to drive progress across a spectrum of industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, and chemistry. Specializing in the design and manufacturing of sensors, our focus lies in creating instruments that facilitate non-destructive, nano-scale imaging of magnetic fields. This groundbreaking technology finds applications in diverse sectors, ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to medical diagnostics.
We have recently raised a substantial seed round and are looking to hire outstanding people and shape quantum sensing together.

EDUCATION:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong background in numerical methods, PDEs, and high-performance computing is highly desirable.

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Machine Learning & Deep Learning: 5+ years of professional experience applying advanced ML methods to scientific or quantitative problems.
  • Inverse Problems & PINNs: Hands-on experience with PINNs and inverse modeling techniques, including but not limited to PDE-constrained optimization and gradient-based methods.
  • Programming Languages & Libraries: Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NumPy, and related libraries for numerical computation.
  • Parallel Computing & HPC: Familiarity with GPU/TPU acceleration, distributed training, and parallelized computing techniques.
  • Software Development Practices: Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical thinking.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of project ownership, from concept to deployment.
