We are looking for an senior economic researcher (m, f, d) as Senior Macro-Economist Aufgaben Cooperating in the analysis and evaluation of monetary policy strategy / Independently conducting monetary policy research projects on fundamental monetary and currency policy issues / Cooperating in ongoing quantitative monetary policy analyses to determine macroeconomic indicators for the preparation of monetary policy decisions / Use of various quantitative methods such as VARs, local projections, machine learning and modelling (dynamic macroeconomic models) / Review of the effectiveness of monetary policy strategy / Analysis and assessment of the appropriateness of monetary policy stance / Participation in monetary policy communication / Writing publications and giving presentations on the monetary policy situation / Ad hoc projects. Qualifikation Ph.D. in Macroeconomics or Financial Market Economics with a focus on monetary policy or financial market stability / Professional experience in monetary policy or in connection with macroeconomic developments at a research institute for economic cycles, at a central bank, BIS, ECB or IMF / Analytical personality with team orientation and sound judgement / Interest in independently and critically researching monetary policy issues or economic relationships / IT flair and programming skills / Interest in oral and written communication, including giving presentations / German and English.
