2nd Shift Senior Maintenance Technician
American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 2nd Shift Senior Maintenance Technician role in our Laurinburg, NC facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Maintenance Technician will operate in a safe and efficient manner of troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machinery. The primary duties include:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Technical Degree
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing)
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
• PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred
• Ability to read blue prints

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager with other initiatives as assigned.
