Residential Living Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to work for a luxury Residential Build to Rent (BTR) development in West London.
Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for a leadership role in a dynamic residential environment? We’re seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to take ownership of building services, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations across a large residential development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining first-class facilities for residents and staff while leading on maintenance operations, compliance, and contractor management.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in building services, facilities maintenance, or engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
  • Proven experience managing contractors, projects, and maintenance KPIs.
  • A relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in building services, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • A hands-on approach with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead on the operation, maintenance, and compliance of all building systems and services.
  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to minimise disruption.
  • Supervise and coordinate contractors and junior staff, ensuring work is delivered to high standards.
  • Monitor, inspect, and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life safety systems.
  • Maintain accurate service records, compliance documentation, and maintenance logs.
  • Support long-term infrastructure upgrades, sustainability initiatives, and energy efficiency projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and company health & safety requirements.
