As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in financial reporting and team leadership. Key Responsibilities · Prepare monthly group management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and insightful commentary. · Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review Profit & Loss analysis reports. · Lead the ledger close process and maintain robust accounting controls. · Present financial results to senior leadership. · Manage customer rebates and oversee vendor funding allocations. · Prepare UK VAT returns and report daily group cash flow. · Lead a small team handling bank reconciliations, payments, expenses, and company credit cards. · Support year-end audit preparation and collaborate with the Finance Manager and Finance Director. · Deliver commercial reporting and calculate sales commissions and bonuses. · Drive process improvements and contribute to finance-related projects alongside the Project Accountant. Key Skills & Experience · Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). · Proven experience in a Management Accountant role. · Strong technical accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIF). · Experience in system development and process improvement. · Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. · Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach. · Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset. · Previous team management experience is desirable. · Knowledge of Corporation Tax, VAT, and employment taxes.
Responsibilities
