Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Management Accountant to join our fantastic finance team in Cobham. This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in preparation of property accounts and able to manage multiple sites and deadlines in a group situation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce month-end and year-end journals.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Monthly variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, consolidations, exception reporting.
  • Annual audit & tax return support.
  • Preparation, submission and payment of quarterly VAT returns & CIS Returns.
  • Analysis of aged debtors and creditors.
  • Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and financial planning.
  • Preparation of bank covenant reporting.
  • Help oversee the outsourced accounts payable function.
  • Act as a Business partner for key finance and non-finance stakeholders.
