Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a pivotal role that not only oversees the production of high-quality, timely, and auditable management accounts but also plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial strategy.
You will be managing a Management Accountant, maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, and ensuring all aspects of the finance function operate smoothly and efficiently.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong leadership and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, KPIs, and client board reports
  • Manage and develop the Management Accountant
  • Cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash management
  • Budgeting and forecasting to agreed deadlines
  • Liaise with auditors and support the production of statutory accounts
  • Oversee payroll coordination and communication with HMRC and third-party providers
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of treasury-related tasks
  • Client relationship management, including participation in client meetings
  • Raise and approve bank payments, ensuring accurate bank reconciliations
  • Support the setup of new homes and handle financial transitions on sale or closure
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to identify and act on financial risks or opportunities
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and assist other finance and HCMS teams as needed
