Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review historical financial data across multiple entities to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP Identify accounting issues, inconsistencies, and process gaps and provide guidance or corrections Act as a technical accounting resource to finance teams Review month-end close deliverables including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Support complex accounting areas such as payroll, tax entries, fixed assets, and depreciation Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and tax filings Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting firms Support tax planning activities and ensure compliance with reporting requirements Standardization and improving accounting processes Provide guidance and review work Support due diligence and integration of acquisitions The above cited duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to the job. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month end close, reconciliations, and financial statements Understanding of tax compliance and multi entity environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to review work and provide clear, actionable feedback Advanced Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communication skills, especially with non-finance teams Ability to work independently, advise others, and improve processes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting Strong knowledge of US GAAP Experience with financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close Experience managing multiple entities or clients Strong communication and analytical skills Advanced Excel skills Preferred Qualifications: CPA or CPA eligible Multi-entity or multi-currency experience Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Sage Experience working with auditors and tax advisors
