Principal accountabilities Preparation of information for the year end audit and tax returns Assisting in the production of the consolidated accounts Month-end reporting including Month-end close Stock reconciliation and analysis Tax accrual and prepayments Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations Supplier payments and cash management Monthly payroll reporting Manage and support a team of three including AP, AR and US reporting Oversee the accounts payable and receivable teams, ensuring deadlines are met and controls are adhered to Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, controls and HMRC requirements Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience Qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Experience of Sage or other accounting software Experience with group consolidations Proven record of working in a team with good oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and numerical abilities Fast learner with a willingness to challenge process and drive improvements What we can offer you In return for everything you bring to the table, we can ensure an exciting, challenging role in a dynamic business surrounded by some of the best people in their respective fields. Responsibilities
The Senior Management Accountant will prepare information for year-end audits and tax returns, assist in producing consolidated accounts, and manage month-end reporting. They will also oversee accounts payable and receivable teams, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and controls.
