Join our inclusive Accounting Policy and Advisory Group, who support Macquarie’s finance teams ensuring IFRS compliance as well as local GAAP compliance as required.
This is a 6-9 month contract role.

What role will you play?
Your focus will include advising on appropriate accounting treatments for proposed transactions in accordance with your business unit-aligned and/or subject matter expert aligned focus areas. You will have the opportunity to develop and maintain the Group’s accounting policies and frameworks in specific subject matter expert areas and support the Group in understanding and implementation of accounting standard changes.

What you offer

  • Tertiary degree in business or commerce and relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA)
  • Extensive experience within a technical accounting role
  • Experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
