Role Overview We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Accounts to lead accounting operations, ensure timely financial closure, and uphold strong governance across our business entities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience working in a fast-paced global environment. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision and ensure high-quality execution. Manage complete accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Month-end Book Closure. Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities and financial reporting. Work collaboratively with shared services finance teams for AR, AP, Commission, and Order Management to finalize books monthly. Perform Revenue–Cost Matching, accruals, deferrals, and prepaid entries accurately. Prepare MIS reports and execute month-end close as per corporate timelines. Conduct variance analysis (YoY, MoM, and Budget vs Actual) and present insights to management. Review account reconciliations and ensure all intercompany entries are balanced and cleared monthly. Provide accurate analysis of budgets, trends, and financial reports for management review. Ensure accounting transactions are correctly recorded in the appropriate GL accounts. Continuously review and improve accounting practices, financial controls, and operational efficiency. Implement and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures. Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and professional development. Key Skills & Requirements Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, or MBA in Finance. Experience: 10–15 years in Accounting & Finance with proven experience in managing end-to-end accounts. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains (Mandatory). Excellent knowledge of Excel (advanced functions & macros preferred). Strong understanding of accounting principles, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
