  • 2+ years in a technical leadership or people management role.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI/ML models or data infrastructure at scale
  • Experience with software development tools and technologies, such as version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and cloud ML platforms (e.g., Azure ML).
  • Deep understanding of MLOps principles and data engineering tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Spark, Databricks).
  • Proficiency in Python for AI/ML and C#/.NET for systems integration.
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures (data lakes, lakehouses, streaming pipelines).
  • Solid grasp of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong awareness of AI governance, ethics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Background in healthcare IT with demonstrated technical acumen and knowledge of industry standards
Responsibilities
  • Lead AI/ML engineers and data engineers in the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of AI models and scalable data systems that power Provation’s solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Medical Content to define technical strategy and roadmap for AI-powered products and enterprise data capabilities.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in machine learning (including MLOps), data engineering, and cloud infrastructure across both teams.
  • Manage talent development through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and hiring to grow strong and diverse AI and Data teams.
  • Monitor team performance, track key deliverables, and resolve blockers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Lead agile execution for AI and data initiatives, participating in daily stand-ups, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Champion innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies (LLMs, NLP, computer vision) and data platforms (Microsoft Fabric) to enhance business impact.
  • Oversee governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices (e.g., model fairness, data privacy) especially with HIPAA and GDPR considerations.
  • Drive technical architecture decisions for ML pipelines, data lakes, real-time processing, and system integration with .NET microservices and cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leads to scale the use of AI/ML and data intelligence across development.
