What’s the role?  This Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring role plays a critical part in strengthening and embedding effective risk and compliance management across the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring risk and compliance frameworks, policies, controls and standards are consistently implemented and operating effectively across the value chain. The position supports proactive identification, investigation and resolution of incidents, issues and root causes, while partnering closely with business leaders to drive sustainable outcomes. The role also oversees value chain assurance activities, ensuring they are well governed, compliant and aligned to customer, regulatory and business objectives. Through strong judgement, collaboration and leadership, the Senior Manager contributes to a strong risk culture and supports internal and external audit and assurance activities. What do I need?  * Extensive experience in senior risk, compliance or controls roles, with a strong track record of implementing and embedding risk and compliance frameworks, policies and controls across complex organisations.  * Demonstrated experience leading incident management, root cause analysis and issue resolution.  * Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders to influence, challenge and support the Line of Business in achieving effective risk and compliance outcomes.  * Experience overseeing assurance and monitoring activities across a value chain, ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance and alignment to business and customer objectives.  * Strong judgement, integrity and leadership capability, with experience supporting internal and external audit, assurance activities and contributing to a positive risk culture.  Why join us?  We’re obsessed with becoming our customers #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
