SENIOR MANAGER, BI, DATABASE SYSTEMS

Heritage New York Medical, PC (HNYMPC) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Business Intelligence team as the Senior Manager of Database systems to support development and ongoing maintenance of programs that adhere to required specifications, encourage productivity, and improve the efficiency of business operations.
The Senior Manager, BI, Database Systems is a hybrid position requiring onsite work 2 -3 days per week at our Garden City, NY location. This position ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Senior Manager, BI, Database Systems will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, computer science, data science or related field.
• Minimum Five years’ experience in reporting tool development and analytics.
• Minimum Three years’ experience in the healthcare field.
• Microsoft Office 365 Proficiency, VBA.
• Knowledge of system interfaces such as HL7 and FHIR.

EXPERIENCE: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• Excellent observational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL programming, stored procedures, SQL SSIS-SSRS
• Knowledge of NextGen PM and EHR, template Operations and system configurations a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicare Risk Adjustment and NCQA Quality programs a plus.
• Independent problem identification/resolution and critical decision-making skills.
• Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, maintain control over all current projects/responsibilities and follow up on all relevant issues as required.
